Lillian Etta Perkins

  Funeral services for Lillian Etta Perkins, 80, of Florien, were
held Saturday, October 5, at 6 p.m., at Coopers Cemetery in
Pickering, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home. Brother
Arthur Arabie officiated.

  Ms. Perkins died Saturday, October 5, in the Byrd Memorial
Hospital in Leesville.

  She is survived by her husband, Floyd Perkins of Florien; one
son, Joseph Perkins of Albuquerque, N. M.; two daughters, Ruth
Brown of Florien, and Esther Harper of Zwolle; four sisters, Lola
Thompson of New Llano, Rena Self of Winnfield, Ona Oaks of Sandy
Hill, and Carie Thompson of DeRidder; 16 grandchildren; and 18
great grandchildren.
