Ms. Nina Canton Cooper Pearson

  Ms. Nina Canton Cooper Pearson, 84, of Zwolle, died Friday, May
4, 2001, at Schumpert Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 6, at Church
of Christ in Zwolle, with interment following at Bethsadia
Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Walsh officiated.

  Survivors include two sons, Forest N. Cooper and wife Rose Marie
of Crockett, Texas, and Taris R. Cooper and wife Evelyn of
Keithville; two daughters, Doris C. Rogers and husband Charlie of
Zwolle, and Dorothy C. Schillinger of Shreveport; one brother
Jack E. Canton of Logansport; 12 grandchildren; 13 great
grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.

  Ms. Pearson was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond
D. Cooper; second husband, Tom Pearson; sister, Edna McKeehan;
and three brothers, James, Van, and Hollis Canton.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons.
