Sam Perkins

  Funeral services for Sam Perkins, 90, of DeRidder, were held at
2:30 p.m., Oct. 5, in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder,
with the Rev. Grover Willis officiating. Burial was in the
Beauregard Memorial Baptist Hospital.

  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lonnie Barnell of Hornbeck;
eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
