All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Ruth Isgitt Presson (Photo) Services for Ruth Isgitt Presson, longtime resident and business owner, of Shreveport, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m., at Friendship Church of the Nazarene in Robeline. Interment will follow at Friendship Nazarene Cemetery, following the services, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. She died Nov. 24, 2002, in Natchitoches. Mrs. Presson was born Jan. 28, 1914, in Robeline. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Veldon Ray Presson; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher Isgitt; brother, Fisher Isgitt Jr.; sisters, Oree Nichols, Mattie Lee Clark, Odessa Clark, and Dois Isgitt. Mrs. Presson is survived by two daughters, Betty Wales and husband the Rev. Harry Wales of Bethany, Okla., and Barbara Veuleman and husband Buddy Veuleman of Robeline; two sons, Austin Ray Presson and wife Nancy of Shreveport, and Bobby Dale Presson and wife Merryl of Goldonna; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Ernest Isgitt of Anacoco. Mrs. Presson operated a successful Real Estate Agency, Ruth Presson Realty of Shreveport, for more than 30 years. She remained active in the real estate business, until she fully retired at age 82. During her semi-retirement, she was associated with Century 21, with Gordan and Pat Spigener, brokers. Mrs. Presson was a member of a number of civic, charitable, and professional organizations. She was the last surviving charter member of Friendship Church of the Nazarene, where her funeral services will be held. She was also a long time member of First Church of the Nazarene in Shreveport, where she was very actively involved for many years. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
