A. J. Parker

  Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Parker, 76, were held at 2
p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, in the Flactor Baptist Church, with the
Rev. Bobby McCullough officiating, assisted by the Rev. Leon Poe,
and the Rev. Sam Self. Burial was in the Hemphill Star Cemetery,
in Selper, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of
Leesville.

  Survivors are his widow; three sons, Elton Parker of Carmichael,
Calif., Walter Parker of Baton Rouge, and Ronnie Parker of Tyler,
Tex.; six daughters, Mrs. Cora Mitchell of Alexandria, Mrs.
Jessie Sanders of Freeport, Tex., Mrs. Geneva Knippers of
Florien, Mrs. Hazel Sanders of Portageville, No., Mrs. Bonnie
Rheams of Angola, and Mrs. Bobbie Easely of Baton Rouge; 28
grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
