Floyd Parker

  Floyd Parker, 69, of Leesville, died Sunday, April 1, in a
Leesville hospital, after a short illness.

  The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, in Oak
Grove Bible Baptist Church in Hornbeck, with the Revs. John
Littleton, Wayne Read, and Donnie Lewing officiating. Burial was
in the church cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mellene Prewitt Parker of
Leesville, three sons, Donald Wayne Parker, and Ronald Paul
Parker, both of Houston, and Floyd Earl Parker of Oklahoma City,
Okla.; four daughters, Loretta Temple of Hornbeck, Mary Cresby of
Leesville, Juanita Domangue, and Nelda Ridens, both of Houston;
one brother, G. C. Parker of Hornbeck; four sisters, Dattie
Snell, and Mildred Snell, both of Hornbeck, Leola Russell of
Leesville, and Nora Dixon of Anacoco; 12 grandchildren; and nine
great grandchildren.
