Interment followed in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield. Rev. Foster Jennings, assisted by Rev. Ed Fenton, officiated. Mrs. Parker was born in Natchitoches Parish. She was a former resident of Vidor, Texas, and had resided in Pleasant Hill for the past four years. Mrs. Parker was a member of the Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. A. Parker; three sisters; and one brother. She is survived by two sons, Don Parker of Marthaville, and Cloy Parker of Beaumont, Texas; one daughter, Doyla White of Vidor, Texas; two sisters, Trudy Megason of Stafford, Arizona, and Susie Birdwell of Marthaville; one brother, Dan Kelly Jennings of Marthaville; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
