Mrs. J. L. Pruitt

Funeral services for Mrs. J. L. Pruitt, 70, of Fisher, were held Wednesday,
Dec. 30, at 2 p.m., in the Mitchell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Fannie
Massey officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband; six sons, Samuel L. Pruitt of Leesville, Johnny
R. Pruitt of Tioga, Titus N. Pruitt of Florida, Mark A. and Luke L. Pruitt of
Fisher; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Lee Manasco of Many; one brother, Lonnie Sims
of Tioga; three half brothers, Willie A. Sims of Tioga, Edward Sims of West
Monroe, and Muriel Sims of California; one half sister, Mrs. Doris Rothenberger
of Franklin, Ark.; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pruitt died in a Many hospital after a short illness.
