The Rev. Bill Stowell, of Emmanual Baptist Church, and Rev. Bob Gordon of ? Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Forest Park. Mr. Pruitt, a native of Many and a Shreveport resident for 30 years, died Sunday, April 21, in his home, following a long illness. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a ? assembly inspector, and a member of Caddo Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, James Patrick Pruitt of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. ? Devorkin of Santa ?, Calif., and Bonnie May Pruitt of Shreveport; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Pruitt of Shreveport; a brother, Ray Pruitt of Shreveport; and two grandchildren.
