The Sabine Index - John Rethus Parrott

  July 5, 1973

  Funeral services were held for John Rethus Parrott, 71, Monday;
July 2 at 10 a.m. in the Aimwell Baptist Church with Rev. Charles
Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery.

  Mr. Parrott died in Shreveport Friday, June 29 following an
extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow; one brother, Luther G. Parrott of
Houston, Tex. and his sister Mrs. Vera Sparkman of Falfurius,
Tex.

  Pallbearers were Randall Parrott, Buster Nabours, J. V.
Martinez, K. C. Bray, Louis Maxey and Marshall Nabours.
