Willie Parrott

  Willie Parrott, 87, of Many, died in Shreveport on Thursday,
October 9, following an extended illness.

  Parrott is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bertie Parrott of Many; a
stepdaughter, Mrs. Barbara Carson of Dallas, Tex.; a sister, Mrs.
Polly Davis of Miami, Fla., four grandchildren, and four great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bill Sirman officiated.
Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Tom Self, Hoyt Hughes, W. E. Lafitte, Wayne
Bostain, T. M. Phillips, and George Cook.
