John L. Pruitt

  John L. Pruitt, 79, of Leesville, died in Leesville Saturday,
Feb. 21, at 11:42 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include six sons, the Rev. Samuel L. Pruitt of
Leesville, James E. Pruitt of Anacoco, Titus Pruitt of Mt. Dora,
Florida, Johnny R. Pruitt of Tioga, Mark A. Pruitt of Anacoco,
and Luke L. Pruitt of Jasper, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Lois Lee
Manasco of Many; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Sandel of Florien; 21
grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Anacoco Pentecost Church
Monday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Fannie Massey
officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
