Parrott 11 Feb 1949 - Funeral services for Ambrose B. Parrott, age 65 years, who died at his home in Noble Saturday morning, Feb. 5, at 7:30 were held Sunday from Noble Pentecostal church with Rev. W. R. Pardue, a former pastor, officiating assisted by Rev. H. L. Hatten. Mr. Parrott, a native son of Sabine parish, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Parrott. His influence in religious affairs was felt throughout Noble area where he was loved and revered. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ada Johnson Parrott; two sons, S. L. Parrott of Vivian and Harold Parrott of Oil City; four daughters, Mrs. Earl Hendershot, Austin, Texas, Mrs. E. D. Harrison; Athens, Texas, Mrs. P. C. Aaron, Noble, and Mrs. Herman Campbell of Gladewater, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. H. H. Thomas, Zwolle, Mrs. Dave Dykes, Noble, Ms. Paralee Lovell, Homer, and Mrs. Bill Bailey, Shreveport, and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Interment was in Noble cemetery under direction of Drewitt funeral home of Mansfield.
