The Sabine Index - James Hampton Pruitt

  30 Mar 1956 - Funeral services for James Hampton Pruitt, 76,
who died at a Shreveport hospital, Friday, March 23 was conducted
at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Bayou Scie Methodist church with
Rev. Lawton officiating.

  Interment was under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his sons, Crit, Stacy, and
Wilsie Pruitt, all of Shreveport, James of Texarkana, Earl of
Zwolle, Felton of Shreveport, daughters, Miss Myrt Pruitt of
Zwolle; Mrs. Elmer Maines of Zwolle, Mrs. L. C. Adair of
Shreveport, Mrs. H. L. Rains of Zwolle, brother Tom Pruitt of
Zwolle, sister, Mrs. Emma Wiley of Zwolle, 16 grandchildren, 6
great-grandchildren.
