  James Parrott Sr. - November 29, 1973

  James Robert Parrott, 53, of New Orleans died on Tuesday, Nov.
27.

  He is survived by his widow; four sons, Robert Parrott, Jr., of
Sacramento, Calif., Will Parrott, Bill Parrott and Jim Parrott,
all of New Orleans; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Reinke of St. Paul,
Minn. And Mrs. Clindie Brooks of Nashville, Tenn; his mother,
Mrs. J. P. Parrott of Rayne; a sister, Mrs. Sybie Andrus of
Rayne; three brothers, Sr. John Parrott of Santa Monica, Calif.,
Reese Lowrey Parrott of Crowley, and Joseph Parrott of North
Carolina; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held at the Warren Meadows Funeral
Chapel Thursday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. W. E. Spencer
officiating. Burial will be in the Parrott Cemetery.
