Myrtie Lea Pruett

  Funeral services for Myrtie Lea Pruett, 89, were held at 2 p.m.,
Feb. 21, at Bayou Scie United Methodist Church.

  Rev. Hugh Warren officiated. Interment was in Bayou Scie
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Pruett was born on October 21, 1905, in Sabine Parish, to
Hamp and Ada Dearman Pruett.

  Mrs. Pruett was preceded in death by a brother and sister, S. H.
Pruett, and Mayo Pruett Franklin.

  Survivors include three sisters, Elmer Maines of Zwolle, Virgie
Rains, and Sibyl Adair, both of Many; five brothers, J. C.
Pruett, and Wilcie Pruett, both of Shreveport, J. P. Pruett of
Tampa Fla., Earl Pruett of Many, and Felton Pruett of Pleasant
Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
