Rev. Rick Martinez officiated. Burial followed in the Beulah Cemetery. Mr. Pruitt, 62, died at 9:40 p.m., Monday, May 5, at the Schumpert Medical Center (Grace Home). Mr. Pruitt was a resident of Robeline, and a native of Shamrock. He was a retired skidder driver for Jenkins Logging Contractors, and was a member of Anthony Baptist Church, Robeline. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille B. Pruitt of Robeline; one daughter, Roxie Berry of Lumberton, Tex.; four sisters, Dorothy Sims, Betty Lou Jordan, Hazel Blue, and Rita Broadway, all of Robeline; one brother, Joe Pruitt of Robeline; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Johnny Jenkins, Joseph Cheson, Stewart Wright, Curtis Jordan, Perry Broadway, Bill Glen Sims, Bert Cotton, and Frank Haltom.
