All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Henry Lee Prewitt Funeral services for Henry Lee Prewitt, 50, of Toro, who died Thursday, Jan. 23, in the Sabine Clinic in Zwolle, following a brief illness, were held in the Pisgah Baptist Church Sunday, Jan. 26, with the Rev. Bobby McCollough officiating. Mr. Prewitt was a school teacher at Ebarb High School, and had taught in other Sabine Parish Schools for a number of years. He is survived by his widow, Dorothy Geraldin Prewitt of Toro; a daughter, Marlene Phillips of Toro; three sons, Raymond, Ronnie, and Roy, all of Toro; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Williams of Shreveport, Mrs. Vestal Hale of Hornbeck, Mrs. Ruth McGraw of Hemphill, and Mrs. Winnie Miles of Barstow, Calif.; two brothers, Wilmer Prewitt of Toro, and Irvin Prewitt of Vidor, Texas. Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his nephews; and honorary pallbearers were Wiley Cummings, Raymond Ebarb, Bucky Murdock, Lowell Bray, and Roger Loupe.
