Mrs. Laura D. Pruitt

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Laura D. Pruitt, 85, of
Torrance, Calif., in Bayou Scie Cemetery, at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 2.

  The Rev. Bill White of Many Pentecostal Church, officiated.

  She was survived by five children, Auby Pruitt of Torrance,
Calif., Lester Pruitt of Livermore, Calif., Jeuel Pruitt of Long
Beach, Calif., Hubert Pruitt of Reno, Nev., and Stella Anne Crow
of Many; also one sister, Cara Ray of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren;
and 10 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were James R. Crow, Stanley Boggs, Walter W. Lewis,
and Crit Pruitt.

  Burial was under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home in Many.
