Born and reared in Zwolle, Miss Parrott had resided in Shreveport for the past 25 years. She was active in Eastern Star work until she became ill, and was formerly private secretary for M. E. Hurlbut, a local realtor. She was also formerly associated for 10 years with Southern Optical Co. here. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. M. A. Pentecost, and Mrs. Ive L. Brown, both of Shreveport; and two brothers, Max L. Parrott of Shreveport, and Randell H. Parrott of Zwolle. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Zwolle Methodist Church. Burial was in Zwolle Cemetery, under direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were Ed Jones, Carl Willis, Jimmy Isgitt, C. C. Nabours, K. C. Peterson, and Pet McCormick.
