Bernice L. Prewitt

  Bernice L. Prewitt, 63, of Toro, died in Florien Thursday, March
14, after a short illness.

  Services were held Sunday, March 17, in the Pisgah Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes, and the Rev. Jason Kay
officiating. Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Miss Norma Lee
Prewitt of Toro, and Mrs. Belva B. Gilmore of Vidor, Tex.; three
brothers, Wilma, and Lee Prewitt, both of Toro, and Ervin Prewitt
of Vidor; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Williams of Shreveport, Mrs.
Ruth McGraw of Hemphill, Tex., Mrs. Winnie Miles of Boistone,
Calif., and Mrs. Vestal Hale of Hornbeck; two grandchildren.
