Rev. Vessie Lovey Prewitt

  The Rev. Vessie Lovey Prewitt, 82, of West Monroe, died March
31, 2002, in West Monroe.

  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., April 3, at Good Hope
Baptist Church in Anacoco, with interment following at Good Hope
Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Sullivan, the Rev. Roy Dowden, the Rev.
Gil Arthur, and Dr. Arnold Nelson will officiate.

  Survivors include two sons, James Prewitt of Leesburg, Fla., and
Wayne Prewitt of West Monroe; two daughters, Bonnie Barnes of
Longview, Texas, and Jennie Johnson of Bossier City; 10
grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
