Rev. Wayne Chalette, pastor of Church of God in Lake Orion, Michigan officiated, with Rev. Boyce Moon, pastor of First Baptist Church in Waskom, Texas, assisting. Burial followed in the Forest Park West. Mr. Prudhome passed away Monday, January 22, at 5:22 a.m., at Schumpert Medical Center, following a brief illness. A native of Frierson, Mr. Prudhome resided in Shreveport most of his life, and was a resident of Keithville. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walter Prudhome, and Pennie Matilda Prudhome. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia Virginia Brakefield of Shreveport; five daughters, Annette Prudhome, and Debra Gray, both of Keithville, Susie Denmon of Frierson, Janell Veuleman of Many, and Charlotte Towns of Shreveport; two sons, Larry D. Prudhome of Shreveport, and Danny Ray Prudhome Sr. of Waskom, Texas; four sisters, Reba Alfred, and Lorena Leon of Shreveport, Ludie Mae Jackson of Bossier City, and Azalee Denmon of Frierson; two brothers, Floyd W. Prudhome of Magnolia, Mississippi, and James Gordy Prudhome of Shreveport; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dale Ray Prudhome, Danny Ray Prudhome Jr., Gary Lyn Shaw Jr. Gary Wayne Cutchall, Alvin Denmon, and James Prudhome.
