J. B. Prothro

  J. B. Prothro, 78, of Rt. 1, Pelican, died Friday, Sept. 10.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m., in the
Wallace Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. C. Salley, and the Rev.
Jerry M. Green officiating. Burial was in the Wallace Cemetery,
under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home.

  Mr. Prothro was retired from the Louisiana Department of Highways.

  Among his survivors is Mrs. Ada Litton of Many.
