Mrs. Mattie Prothro

  Mrs. Mattie Prothro, 89, of Greenwood, died in the
Willis-Knighton Hospital in Shreveport, on Aug. 18, at 10:45
p.m., after a lengthy illness.

  The surviving relatives are one sister, Mrs. Hollis Rabb of
Greenwood; one brother, C. W. Locke, Robeline; one grandchild,
and 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Chapel,
Saturday, Aug. 30, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Leland Bevill
officiating. Burial was in the Rocky Mount Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were John Locke, Bernard Thomas, Raymond Wyatt,
Robert Davis, John Hughes Rabb, and Greg Rabb.
