Cordelia H. Prothro

  Cordelia Hicks Prothro, 99, of Hallsville, Tex., died Tuesday
afternoon, Dec. 25, in a Shreveport nursing home, after a long
illness.

  Services were at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, in Hallsville First
Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Taylor, and the Rev. George
English officiating. Burial was in Hallsville Cemetery.

  Survivors include three daughters, Madelyn Cowan of Sutherland
Springs, Grace Arnold of Hallsville, and Bert Aaron of
Shreveport; two sons, Harold Prothro of Shreveport, and Hugh D.
Prothro of Grapeland; one brother, L. E. Hicks of Natchitoches;
two sisters, Kate Mallett of Marthaville, and Alberta Nebbits of
Memphis, Tenn.; 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; and 18
great-great grandchildren.
