Foster Jennings, and Rev. Dell S. Durant Jr. officiating. Mrs. Prothro died in Houston, after a long illness. Burial was in Rocky Mount Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge. Survivors are her husband, Rev. W. P. Prothro of Robeline; four sons, Paul Prothro of Houma, James of Midland, Texas, C. W. of Houston, and John H. of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. H. M. Parker of Provencal, Mrs. Naomi Schumacker of Maplewood; two brothers, Jack Cutright of Midland, Texas, Walter Cutright of Alta, Canada; three sisters, Mrs. Wallace Wyatt of Belmont, Mrs. D. R. Lites of Many, Mrs. Evelyn Powell of Ft. Worth; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
