Alvin W. Prothro

  Alvin W. Prothro, 40 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Prothro
was killed in an automobile crash in Oklahoma City, Friday night.
Funeral services were held Monday, in the Wallace Baptist Church,
with the Rev. Alfred Mitchell, Rev. Cecil Salley, and Rev. Lloyd
Brown in charge of the services. Burial was in the Wallace
Cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home.

  Survivors include two daughters, Denise, and Cathy of
Shreveport; a son, Gary; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Prothro
of Pleasant Hill; and a brother, Earl M. of Shreveport.
