Primm, 80, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 14, at the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church, with Bishop Stan Hayes, Elder Glenn Hardy, and President Breeman Baker officiating. Interment followed in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Primm died on Friday, July 12, at the Sabine Medical Center in Many, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Many on March 5, 1911. He was a lifelong resident of Many, a retired Sabine School bus driver, and a member of the Latter-day Saints Church. He is preceded in death by a son, Gary Primm. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Arline Primm of Many; three sons, Herman J. Primm and his wife Louise of Waskom, Texas, Bobby Joe Primm and his wife Patty of Shreveport, and Doyle Primm and his wife Ann of Natchitoches; two daughters, Louise Teddlie of Kilgore, Texas, and Brenda Bowling and her husband Charles of Shreveport; one sister, Era Williams of Jena; seven grandchildren, Kathy Martin of Bossier City, Renee Hardy of Phoenix, Ariz., Cheryl Denise Johnson of Shreveport, Robert Joseph Primm of Glouchester, Shana Bowling of Shreveport, Cory Primm, and Emily Primm of Natchitoches; four great grandchildren, Chris, and Casey Martin of Bossier City, Aaron, and Mallory Johnson of Shreveport. Pallbearers were Ross Vincent, W. E. Hayes, Chris Martin, James Hayes, J. L. Hayes, and Wilford Primm. Honorary pallbearers were Casey Martin, Aaron Johnson, Kenny Johnson, and Robert Joseph Primm. Mr. Primm loved his family very dearly, and was devoted to each and every one of them. They will each hold dear all the total memories of him, always remembering the lessons he taught them throughout the years.
