Primm were held Monday, January 18, 1993, at 2 p.m., at Boone Funeral Home. Officiating was Bishop Malcolm Aucoin, and Brother Doug Bell of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of which Mr. Primm was a lifelong member. Mr. Primm died Friday, January 15, 1993, at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness. He was born March 31, 1934, in Robeline, La., and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport. He was a member of Caddo Lodge #179, F & AM Scottish Rite Temple, El Karubah Shrine Temple, and the International Steel Guitar Association. He was retired from American Linen Service. Mr. Primm was preceded in death by his father, J. P. Primm; and one brother, Gary G. Primm of Many, La. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 38 years, Louise Primm; one special daughter, Kathy Ann Martin and her husband Billy of Bossier City, La.; two grandsons whom he idolized, Christopher Nicholas, and William Casey Martin of Bossier City, La.; his mother, Arline Primm of Many, La.; two sisters, Louise Teddie of Shreveport, La., and Brenda Bowling and her husband Charles of Many, La.; two brothers, Bobby Joe Primm and wife Patty of Shreveport, La., and Doyle Primm and wife Ann of Natchitoches, La.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Pallbearers were Charles DeVore, Dough (Dobber) Johnson, Walter Roberts Jr., Robbie Primm, Kenny Johnson, Charles Bowling, and Derrell Stephens. Herman had a great love and talent for music, and he always shared with his family and grandchildren. He was loved dearly by all that knew him, and will be greatly missed.
