J. E. Permenter

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., July 10, for Jessie E.
Permenter, 68, who died in Converse, after a brief illness.

  The services were held in the Fellowship Baptist Church, with
the Rev. L. F. Gill, and the Rev. Alfred Mitchell officiating.
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral
Home in charge. Masonic graveside rites were held.

  Survivors include two sons, Richard Permenter of El Paso, and
Randall Permenter of Converse; two daughters, Margie Savell of
Shreveport, and Earnestine Warren of Many; one brother, Alfred
Permenter of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Elma Gallien of
Shreveport; and five grandchildren.
