Parmer, 84, of Haughton, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 21, at the Red Chute Church of Christ, where she was a member. Charles A. Davis, Sr., pastor of the church, and Charles A. Davis Jr., officiated. Burial was in Pease Chapel Cemetery. Plans were under the direction of Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Mrs. Parmer, a resident of Haughton most of her life, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 1985, at her residence. She was born in Union Parish, La. She is survived by two sons, Jacob C. Parmer of Haughton, and James Edward Parmer of St. Jo, Texas; five daughters, Audrey Rockett, Hazel Waters, Barbara Davis of Haughton, June Moore of Brookings, Oregon, and Debra Pipply of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Katherine Welch of Bossier City, La.; one brother, B. J. Tidwell of Many, La.; 37 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; and a number of great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons.
