Funeral Services for Riley M. Patton, 89, of Many, were held on Feb. 8 at
Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Allen officiating. Burial followed
in the Friendship Baptist Cemetery. Riley M. Patton was born on Tuesday, April
28, 1925 in Zwolle. He passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at his home in
Many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velva Patton; parents, Daniel L and
Artie Brumley Patton; son, Jimmy Patton and four brothers and one sister. He is
survived by his son, Paul Patton and wife, Phyllis, of Marthaville, daughter,
Connie Starks and husband, Joe, of Many; son, Tommy Patton and wife, Velva, of
Many; sister, Louise Pennington and husband, Jay, of Zwolle; daughter-in-law,
Patsy Patton of Robeline; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; seven
greatgreat grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Marty Starks, Tim Starks, Jonathan Starks, Matt Patton, Nathan
Patton and Mitch Middleton.
