All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Sylvester "Joe" Joseph Quebodeaux Funeral services for Sylvester "Joe" Joseph Quebodeaux, 50, of Many, were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997, in St. Michael Chapel in Egan. Officiating was Fr. Donald Leger. Interment was in Sensai Cemetery in Egan, under the local arrangements by Les Fontaine Funeral Home of Many. Mr. Quebodeaux passed away at his residence on Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, and retired from South Central Bell Telephone Co., in 1995, after 23 years, as a telecommunications supervisor. He is survived by his widow, Gloria Pousson Quebodeaux of Many; two sons, Scott Quebodeaux (wife Angie), and Jimmy Quebodeaux, all of Lafayette; his parents, Claude and Grace Quebodeaux of Evangeline; three sisters, Doris Broussard of Egan, Brenda Istre of Crowley, and Cathy McGee of Carthage, Texas. He is also survived by three brothers, Dennis Quebodeaux of Egan, David Quebodeaux of Crowley, and Dale Quebodeaux of Evangeline; one grandchild, Maigon Quebodeaux of Lafayette; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
