The Sabine Index - Mrs. Mattie M. Quarles

  10 Jun 1949 - Mrs. Mattie M. Quarles, 71, expired in a
DeQuincy hospital at 2 p.m. Friday of last week. Funeral services
were held at Massingill funeral home chapel 1:30 p.m. Saturday by
Rev. Earnest Dees, followed with interment under Massingill
funeral home.

  Surviving relatives include husband, J. N. Quarles, DeQuincy,
sons, J. E. Errington, Port Arthur, Texas, R. M. Grisham,
DeQuincy; sisters, Mrs. Anna Puckett, Florien, Mrs. Mary Sadler,
Houston, Texas, Mrs. Lizzie Thompson, New Williard, Texas, Mrs.
Lillie Richardson, Van, Texas, Mrs. Bertie Rushing, Silsbee,
Texas; brothers, Andrew Lewis, Leesville, Dolf Lewis, Splinter,
Texas, and two grandchildren.
