Della Mae Roe

  Services for Mrs. Della Mae Roe, 88, of Marthaville, were held
at 2 p.m., Friday, April 3, at the Marthaville Baptist Church,
with the Rev. Oliver H. Prothro officiating, assisted by the Rev.
Clarence Berly.

  She died at 1 a.m., Thursday, April 2, in the Natchitoches
General Hospital, following a short illness.

  Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of
the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include one son, Robert Roe, Marthaville; seven
daughters, Velma Settle, Myrtle Freeman, both of Marthaville,
Vertie Blue, Logansport, Lucille Wells, Pleasant Hill, Violet
Cagle, Blanchard, Elizabeth Wallis, and Joanne Wallis, both of
Shreveport, 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren; and one
great-great grandchild.
