Louis Orlan Roe

  Services were held for Mr. Louis Orlan Roe, 62, of Natchitoches,
at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral
Home Chapel in Natchitoches. The Rev. C. F. Shirley, and the Rev.
Larry Bazer officiated. Burial was at the Beulah Cemetery near
Marthaville, La.

  Mr. Roe died Sunday night at the Veteran's Administration Center
in Shreveport, La.

  He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Y. Roe of Natchitoches; two
sons, Steve Roe of Shreveport, La., and Tracy Roe of Keithville,
La.; three daughters, Ladelle St. Andry of Natchitoches, Sarah
Pleasant of Marthaville, La., and Claire Roe of Shreveport; five
sisters, Pearl Blackman of Longview, Texas, Minnie Prothro, Elva
Prothro, and Ludie Beam of Shreveport, Lillie Barnhill of
Marthaville; two brothers, Earl J. Roe of Marthaville, and Ellis
Roe of Frierson, La.; eleven grandchildren.
