Roe, Sr. Funeral services for Henry Albert Roe, Sr., 30, of Marthaville, were held Sunday, June 9, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Foster Jennings officiating. Burial was in Marthaville Cemetery. A native of Natchitoches, Mr. Roe died Friday night, June 7, 1985, as a result of injuries he received in a motorcycle accident near Pleasant Hill. He was an oil field worker. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sandra G. Roe of Marthaville; three sons, Henry A. Jr., Anthony Wade, and Samuel Roe, all of Marthaville; his mother, Mrs. Christine Wallis Roe of Marthaville; one sister, Mrs. Anita Roe Shoemaker of Marthaville; three brothers, Robert W. Roe Jr. of Marthaville, Felton James Roe of Many, and Ralph Edwin Roe Sr. of Hackberry, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Eunice Lassie Wallis of Bossier City. Pallbearers were Dewayne Graves, Kenneth Rains, James Berry, Albert Berry, Kenny Rawls, and Art Eason.
