The Sabine Index - Tom Reeves

  23 Aug 1940 - Last rites for Tom Reeves, age 53 years, of Gandy were
held at Prospect church last Thursday at 4 p.m., with Rev. J. H. Ricks
officiating.  Funeral directed by the Dennis-Green funeral home.
Interment in the Prospect cemetery.

  Active pallbearers:  Mason Tynes, O. L. Montgomery, Mack Hayes, Bill
Davis, Jack Dildy and Floyd Hardy.

  Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Reeves, two sons, Joyce and James, and
one daughter, Mary, Glyn, all of Gandy.

  Mr. Reeves had been sick for a week but death came suddenly while he
was at the doctors office.
