Mrs. Laverne Barclay Reeveas

  Mrs. Laverne Barclay Reeveas, 81, died Wednesday, March 28,
2001, in Many, after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at
Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville. The Rev. Stephen Neesley
officiated.

  Mrs. Reeveas was a member of Aimwell Baptist Church in Zwolle,
and was also an active member in the community in Many.

  Survivors include two daughters, LaVada Burks of Many, and
Belinda Sue Shofner of Lamesa, Texas; one son, Calvin Barclay
Reeveas of Lewisville, Texas; two grandchildren, Brooke Edmondson
of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Hunter Shofner of Lubbock, Texas; and
two sisters, Fannie Mae Busbee of Arlington, Texas, and Olean
Thomas of Sunray, Texas.

  Pallbearers were Boots Stansbury, David Stansbury, Jimmy Grier,
Dennis Kyle, Harlin Knight, and Ervin Redden.
