Charlotte Pickett Rufflin

  Funeral services for Charlotte Pickett Rufflin, were held at 10
a.m., Friday, Sept. 4, at the Minden Rose-Neath Chapel.

  The Reverend Rick Spencer officiated. Burial was at Gardens of
Memory Cemetery, under the direction of Minden Rose-Neath's
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Rufflin died Tuesday, Sept 1, at the Schumpert Medical
Center, after a lengthy illness.

  Survivors are her husband, Clifford Rufflin of Minden; one son,
Bill Rufflin of Baton Rouge; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dr.
Gayle Slaughter and husband Dr. Michael Slaughter of Houston, and
Lt. Col. Charlotte Kimball Hudson and husband Lt. Col. Hugh
Hudson of Italy; one sister, Mrs. Joy Phillips of Fisher; one
brother, Judge John S. Pickett Jr. of Many; two grandsons,
Christopher Slaughter, and Dustin Kimball; fifteen nieces and
nephews.
