Rev. Richard Hoffpauir, and Rev. Abe Conerly officiated. Burial with Masonic graveside rites were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville. Arrangements are under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Mr. Robinson, a native of Hornbeck, and a resident of Natchitoches for 8 years, died at 3:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital, after a brief illness. He was a superintendent at Tennessee Gas Transmission Co., where he had worked for 32 years, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the Scottish Rite, and the Eastern Star, a veteran of World War II, and Legion, a member of the Lions Club, and the First United Methodist Church, where he was on the board of trustees. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joeline B. Robinson of Natchitoches; two daughters, Jo Ann Gregg, and Becky Watson, both of Lake Charles, La.; one sister, Stella Dowden of Hornbeck; one brother, Lee Robinson of Big Sandy, Tex.; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Blackburn, Wayne Blackburn, Marlin Dowden, Billy Dowden, John Bakat, Leslie Bakat, Pauley Starks, and Tommy Curtis. Honorary pallbearers were Employees of the Tennessee Gas Transmission Co. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches or Hornbeck, in his name.
