Robinson Services for Mr. "Robbie" James D. Robinson, 57, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 1988 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Bossier Chapel. The Rev. Bill Pickard, pastor of Bossier City Missionary Baptist Church officiated, assisted by the Rev. Roy Chapman, pastor of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Shreveport. Military graveside rites were observed at Hill Crest Cemetery. Mr. Robinson, a resident of Converse, La. for two years, died Monday, November 7, 1988 at Schumpert Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Forest, Miss., was a present employee with the city of Shreveport and was retired from the U. S. Air Force after twenty years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtis P. Robinson of Converse; his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Joseph L. Robinson of Pearl, Miss.; one son David W. Robinson of Converse; three daughters, Vanessa Henry of Shreveport, Robbin Council of Haughton, and Debbie Kent of Princeton; two sisters, Maxine Greer of Pearl, Miss. and Alenda Runnels of Jackson, Miss. and five grandchildren.
