  Funeral services for Mr. Marion "Benny" Robinson, 72, of Many,
were held Saturday, August 19, 1995, at 2 p.m., at the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many. Officiating the service was
the Rev. Kenneth Leach Sr.

  Mr. Robinson died Wednesday, August 16, 1995, in the V.A.
Hospital in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness.

  Mr. Robinson was born December 29, 1922, in Sabine Parish, to
Pearlie Wagley Robinson and Coda Robinson. He married Jeanie
Martinez, March 14, 1969, in Sabine Parish.

  Mr. Robinson was an Army Veteran from World War II, and he was a
former co-owner of Robinson Brothers Used Cars in Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Jeanie M. Robinson of Many; two
sons, Ben Robinson Jr. and his wife Joyce of St. Charles, Mo.,
Joe C. Robinson of Beaumont, Texas; two daughters, Elizabeth
Alicia Schmidt and her husband Brian of Beaumont, Texas, and
Bonnie Irion and her husband Scott of Shreveport; one sister,
Ruby Ross of Many; one brother, Bob Robinson of Many; five
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
