She was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and children church worker. She was a native and lifelong resident of Coldwater Community. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Nov. 5, at Coldwater Baptist Church, with interment following at Coldwater Cemetery. The Rev. Cecil Boswell officiated. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robbie Herrington of Grapevine, Texas, Sandra Herrington of Florien, and Betty Robbins Briggs of Natchitoches; son, Mr. Sammy Lynn Robbins of Aurora, Mo.; two brothers, the Rev. Earlee Boswell of Turkey Creek, and Delmar Boswell of Natchitoches; six grandchildren, Janet Barnum, Karen Santiago, Mellissa Bounds, Leslie Parsons, Jason Robbins, and Rhonda Marcantel; 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Robbins; granddaughter, Jill Robbins; parents, James Boswell, and Ada Dowden Boswell; and three brothers, Oren Boswell, Ray Boswell, and Elvis Boswell.
