The Rev. J. M. Cason, pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Leonard Lindsay, associate pastor of the church. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Shreveport. Mrs. Rivers, born in Zwolle, and a resident of Shreveport for 32 years, died Sunday, March 20, 1983, at LSU Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was a housewife, and a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. She is survived by five sons, Joseph Leone, Gene Leone, Wilfred Leone, and Curley Rivers of Shreveport, and Jess Leone of Florida; two daughters, Gertrude Mullins of Utica, N. Y., and Ruby Ebarb of Rosevine, Texas; 26 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one brother, Alex Pipps of Zwolle. Pallbearers will be Lester Meyers, W. H. Schoefer, L. C. Ferguson, Aubrey Cason, Pete Bennett, and H. D. Roberts.
