Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment following in St. Joseph Cemetery. Father David Richter officiated. Mrs. Rivers was a life long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served 43 years in St. Ann's Circle. She attended a retreat at Mary Hill for 35 years. Mrs. Rivers was also a bingo volunteer at the St. Joseph Church for several years and regularly attended the Eucharistic Adoration. She was a dedicated mother to her twelve children and grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Pam Rivers of Zwolle; 11 sons, Randall Rivers and wife, Ava of Shreveport, Jerry Rivers of Zwolle, Jackie Rivers and wife, Faye Lynn, Rodney Rivers and wife, Billie, Robin Rivers and wife, Debbie, Benjamin Rivers and wife, Carol all of Zwolle, David Rivers and wife, Denise of Noble, Tom Rivers of Zwolle, Tim Rivers of Shreveport, Barry Rivers and wife, Kari of Noble and Christopher Rivers of Zwolle; four sisters, Marjorie Rivers, Virginia "Janey" Procell and Mary Eva Lambert, all of Noble and Rose Wanat of Fort Myers, Fla.; a special niece, Henrietta Rivers; special friends, Bill and Hilda Williams; 15 grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and a host of friends. Mrs. Rivers was preceded in death by her husband, James Carson Rivers; her parents, Doria and Christine Sepulvado; and two sisters, Verna Marie Ebarb and Elvie Sepulvado. Pallbearers were Pat Rivers, Sammy Rivers Jr., Henry Rivers, Freddie Rivers, Tommy Ezernack and Ben Henry Rivers. Warren Meadows Many, La.
