Johnnie L. Rivers

  Johnnie L. Rivers, 54, of Noble died in Noble on Saturday, Jan 10,
following a short illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katherine Rivers of Noble, two
sons; Johnny Lee Rivers and David Allen Rivers, both of Kountz, Tex.,
four daughters; Sybil Colleen Shirey and Shirley Anell Rivers, both of
Hilster, Tex., Kimberly Marie Rivers and Debra Kay Rivers, both of
Noble, a brother, Ben D. Rivers of Noble, eight sisters, Josephine
Garcie of Zwolle, Bertha Livingston and Hazel Lustgraaf, both of
Shreveport, Mary Bell of Longview, Tex., Ruth Talley of Geneva, Ala.,
Doris Fay Malmay of Rocky Mount, Thelma Morrison of Hineston, and
Maggie Edmunds of Leesville, and eight grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Monday,
Jan 12, at 1 p.m., with Father Giles Boyer officiating. Burial was in
St. Ann's Cemetery under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.
