Mrs. Lois Miller Rivers

  Mrs. Lois Miller Rivers, 70, of Lake Charles, died Wednesday. Sept. 24, at
12:05 p.m. in a local hospital.

  Mrs. Rivers was a native of Many and a Lake Charles resident for over 30
years. She retired from West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital as an L. P. N. with
20 years service from Feb. 14, 1973 to March 1, 1991.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, in the Johnson Funeral
Home Chapel The body will be cremated. The Rev. David DeWitt officiated.
Survivors include two sons Donald Rivers of Lake Charles and Alan Rivers of
Indianapolis Ind.; two sisters, Eunice Miller and Iva Rivers both of Many and
two grandchildren.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Lois Miller
Scholarship Fund for Nurses, P. 0. Box 6552, Lake Charles. La. 70606.
