Lester Rivers

  Lester Rivers, 25, of Shreveport, died Saturday night, Nov. 6, about
8:20 p.m., from the results of a gun shot wound.

  Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m., in the St.
Joseph Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Friend
officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Lester is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rivers of
Shreveport; seven brothers, Jimmy, Johnny, Pat, Phillip, Danny, Benny,
and Richard Luke, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Delores Clayton
of Shreveport, and Mrs. Christell Addison of Pine Mountain, Ga.; and
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Oma Moore of Zwolle.
